| We have acquired, direct from Japan, the complete front clip
- bumper to windshield - plus driveshaft and rear axle of a turbo RX7. Unfortunately for the Japanese (and fortunately for us), Japanese clean-air standards are more stringent than ours, and perfectly fine cars end up declared not road-worthy way before their time. Unfortunately for the car, import duties are such that importing a complete car is cost-prohibitive, but if the car is first cut in half it becomes used car parts, and can be imported economically. Below is a video of the J-Spec turbo being checked out in Japan before the automotive equivalent of hara-kiri. |
